This was a great creative session with a fantastic crew of creatives. This is real paint and the poor models wore several buckets of paint in the eyes and mouth. Chloe and Christin were seriously professional. Any way here are some images from the session.

I don't usually feature other photographers on my website for obvious commercial reasons. But every now and then you meet a photographer who takes your breath away with their inspiring images and I wanted to share one of my favourite landscape photographers with you.
A few years ago, I met Tim Kiesman, a Canadian who now lives at Hervey Bay in Queensland, Australia. Tim is an outstanding landscape photographer who creates beautiful art pieces for your wall. In fact, I have a large Mary River landscape framed art piece by Tim above my workstation, where I am writing this post.
You can find more of Tim's fabulous work here. He is having a special offer at the moment so I highly recommend having a look.

As well as all the commercial and model sessions we also have a lot of fun with our family sessions too! I loved this little guy. He was a real livewire all session.
I especially love this "Who me?" expression. What a character!
And here is the fantastic promotional video that kicked off East of Grey's launch of their new clothing line. Here is a bit about Kim and East of Grey's philosophy with their individually crafted and styled clothing range.
"Kim Bailey on the Gold Coast, QLD, as a clothing and accessory label, ‘east of grey’ aims to create garments which display an individual style. This is achieved using recycled, vintage, hand-printed & hand-embellished fabrics, steering away from the mass market so as to appeal to niche markets globally.
Due to the exclusivity of these fabrics each piece is a one off or part of a small supply range. Inspiration is drawn from all aspects of life and focuses on bringing back the old school methods to ensure quality and an innovative yet simple garment.
Each range features unusual trims, vintage buttons, bright clashing colours & fabrics – high quality and timeless style are always at the heart of each design. Every garment has a personality and designer Kim Bailey is often at the mercy of the fabric – it’s personality instructs what is to be done with it, not the other way around."
So if you are after something unique and special give Kim a call.
More from the fabulous session with East of Grey. We've worked with Kim quite a bit the last few years. Her styling skills and attention to detail are just excellent. Kim handmakes these unique garments. All the garments are one-of-a-kind made locally in her Gold Coast studio.
The finest vintage fabrics, from silk kimonos to natural cottons, beads and bells have come together to bring you the latest collection Pirates Vs Ninjas by east of grey. All garments can be made to order so you choose which fabrics you like from our amazing collection....release the designer inside of YOU!
To celebrate the launch of her fabulous line, Kim is holding a great competition to win a Hilary Tote. To enter see all the details here.
